Springbrook News & Updates

Where can I learn more about birds and
even see them up close?

Help capture and release wild birds for our banding research program. Hold in your hand cardinals, chickadees, robins and more as they are released. Learn from experts as they record data about the birds before banding and releasing them. Springbrook's bird banding project is one of the oldest continued bird banding projects in Minnesota.

Do I need an online account to register for programs?

Yes. We have moved to a new registration system that is easier and more convenient. Simply create a new account and get started. Within your new account, you will be able to sign up for programs, view your program schedule, pay invoices and more!

Can I rent snowshoes at Springbrook Nature Center?

Yes! Snowshoes are available for rent for just $5 per pair. Rentals will remain available as long as we have three inches of snow on the ground. Just stop into the interpretive center between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. any day of the week!
